Shannon and Tony Wedding

My perfect streak of never having had outdoor wedding rained out has now officially ended. On June 12 (which happens to my own wedding anniversary as well), Shannon and Tony's Peabody, Massachusetts outdoor wedding was moved into the reception barn.

And it couldn't have been better.

The intimacy of the crowd standing on two levels, watching over them in the rustic barn while a mist blew in through the open barn doors was idyllic. The love and joy in Shannon and Tony outshown any rain clouds that day. I truly can say I have never seen a couple so fully immersed in both each other and each and every moment of the day. They seemed to absorb everything - including each other - in beautiful, natural moments. I was really awestruck.

I am always a romantic when it comes to weddings, and rarely do I not tear up at some point and have to put the camera down for a second to relish the moment. But I have never teared up as often and for as long as I did on this day.

I am still in awe.

So, I am posting more photos than usual, in hopes I can catch that specialness that surrounded Shannon, Tony, their families and each of their guests on that rainy day north of Boston. Thank you, Shannon and Tony, for making love real.
