Photos from a tour I had of the
Plumb-Bronson House in Hudson, New York. It was originally built and designed by architect
Alexander Jackson Davis in the mid-1800s. The staircase is amazing, and rightfully the most famous element here. The last photo was a random find in one of the house's bedroom closets. If only I knew the story.
When I pulled up your blog and saw that staircase, you got an audible WOW from me. Please tell me that house is being fixed up.
